So, I have been so busy with my business (deal) blog that I haven’t even been on this one. Well, taking the few days off for Christmas made me hop on here. I am so excited to go back to keeping this one up.
It was a great holiday. Jack & Jude got exactly what they wanted from Santa – a new Zelda with the grey-horned guy and a DS. AJ, well, he ripped his up by this evening. It will be going back, he got a Mack playhut from Lightning McQueen. They all enjoyed their bounce house and jumped a few times today. They are looking forward to jumping tomorrow. Mallory was happy about her new iPod too. She listen to it all last night. Well, I am off to relax. Tomorrow… shopping the clearances!!!
I just started a new blog, so you haven’t missed too much yet. Please check it out, http:www.myvegasmommy.com. I am going to spread the word about deals, freebies and more in our town of Vegas. I hope that you will find it useful and save you time and money!
If you see anything around, please don’t hesitate to share it with me. Simply send me a message with as much detail as possible, myvegasmommy@gmail.com.
The best way to keep up with my posts is to subscribe to the feed for my blog. If you are unfamiliar with feeds, it is a basic message that is sent everytime I post, which can be read in a reader or just delivered to your email. You can also follow me on twitter or facebook.
I will be busy posting lots of stuff, as there are loads of deals out there! Thanks for your support!
Ok, so I got my first freebie deal at CVS. I am so new at this whole thing, but quickly getting excited. I was able to get a 10 pack of pencils, 3 rolls of tape and 2 double pencil sharpeners for free!!! I can’t wait until my next deal!
Okay, so it is almost 2 months now that I have been parenting solo. I hate it! I have probably already said it a million times, but it is never enough. I am still hanging in there, but I sure have my moments! Between taking care of 2 nearly 4 year old boys with loads of energy, a 21 month old that never stops and thinks he is 4, and let’s not forget the tween going on 30; they can run anyone ragged. I used to love that when Tony would come home in the evenings, he would have energy to spend time with them while I prepared dinner or just work on other duties around the house. He was always great with baths too and night night. Although, I am the story reader. It is nice not having the kids in extra-curriculars right now though. Mallory has girl scouts, but it is all manageable. YEAH, no more ball!!!! So, I know that Tony is missing us and is wishing he could be here, but we gotta do what we gotta do. Right? Soon enough he’ll be home and we will be back to being an everyday family, and it couldn’t come any quicker!
I have been meaning to blog, so much has been going on. But, to be honest, when all are a asleep, that is my only real moments. I find it comforting to loose myself in tv or a book. It is my destresser! Most of the time, though, that is when Tony calls to talk. It is already late for him with the time change, but gotta keep our marriage strong. We talk at least 10 times a day, but it is usually about kid stuff and other business. At night, we talk about us and our lives, plans, etc… so who would want to give it up? Not me! I love him infinite times over!!!!
Anyways, it is 8:20pm and all but one is in bed asleep. Thank goodness for me and my routine! However, Mallory’s got a huge project due tomorrow that she is working on, so that will need my attention and I haven’t eaten dinner yet. Tony will call within the next hour, I am sure. So, that is pretty much the extent of my day. So, no more time to waste. I am going to eat and deal with the rest. Like the title states, Welcome to my crazy life!

Okay, so the Landy’s are celebrating May Day! We just love celebrating life, so we never need a reason. But, it gives me and nice opportunity to explore areas of culture with my children without traveling far.
In 2001, Martha Stewart had an awesome issue with May Day items in it, mostly poles. So, in June of that year, I made a cake that was just like it for my sister, Gabrielle. It was very good. It was my first time making 7 minute frosting. Well, 8 years later, I am going to make it again. I can’t believe it has been that long, gosh, I am getting old. So, off I am. We are having a pizza party and cake & ice cream.
So, celebrate, pick some flowers!

AJ, Jude & Jack
On our way out, he was waving to the Easter Bunny. Ha Ha, the jokes on Mom, right? We shall see what next year brings. I will pack the bag with dum dums, duh!!!
